A year of events photographed in 2010

Though the majority of my work is in private and corporate portraiture and architectural and interiors photography, I regularly cover events in both formal and informal ways using a Fuji Finepix S5 Pro and a Leica M8 and have put together a slide show of some of the events I did photograph last year.

These include the launch event for the Boiler House Event space at Battersea Power Station, Designer Breakfasts, At Abrahams,
A gilding master class by Rodrigo Titian, a Triibes Seth Goldin meetup at the Royal Festival Hall,
The Music Publishers Association AGM, The Thinking Hotel 24 hour workshop,
The British Quality Foundation Awards and the Change Play workshop - variety is the spice of life.

and a wedding in Surrey,

A Christmas Tale

Every year at this time, I take short walk around my patch of Fulham to photograph with my Leica M8, a Christmas Tale. It is the sad story of thousands of trees that a few weeks earlier were the centre of lavish attention, spruced up and decorated to the nth degree, sheltering presents for the little and not so little children everywhere, the focus of Christmas Eve and Day with carols and giving.

Then a short while later rude awakening, unwanted and thrown into the bin or out into the street.
You can see more of these pictures in a slideshow of the Christmas Tree Tale

24 Portraits taken during 2010

I thought I would start the year with a look back at last year, 2010 with a series of slide shows covering commissioned portraiture, photography of places and events and finally private work and street photography. I have selected images that I like particularly and not necessarily those selected by the clients as part of their final order of images.

So here is a slideshow of 24 Portraits including this self portrait taken when setting up the lighting for a photo shoot.
